Writers and illustrators! Join us for the next Story Spinners. Gather for a few hours and focus on your current work in progress in the company of like-minded creators. Next event: June 15 at the Glacier Creek Prairie Preserve from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.
The next planned Story Spinner event is June 15 at the Glacier Creek Prairie Preserve from 10:00-2:00. We will meet in the upstairs barn classroom to write, or you can go outside if the weather is good. There is no food available on the premises, so we highly recommend that you bring your own lunch and drink. Afterward, you are welcome to take a walk in the beautiful surroundings. Treat yourself with extra time to enjoy our local beauty.
Glacier Creek Prairie Preserve is located at 14810 State Street, Bennington, Nebraska.
The entrance to the preserve is located on the north side of State Street about 1/2 mile west of the intersection of 144th and State Streets or 1/2 mile east of the intersection of Military and State Streets. Brown and white road signs guide you to the entrance. Follow the gravel road down the hill to the headquarters parking area.
There has been construction on State Street, so you may not be able to access the entrance if you are traveling east on State. If you drive north on 144th to State and turn left, the signs will direct you.
