Registration deadline: Sunday, July 20
Artwork due: Week of July 28
Show opening: Friday, August 8

ARTWORK GUIDELINES
The work submitted for this show should be kidlit specific - personal or published work is acceptable. All mediums and publishing categories welcome! (magazine, board book, picture book, graphic novel, YA, etc)
Final artwork submitted should be ready to hang - meaning the artwork is fitted with an appropriate apparatus to hang/be installed in the gallery (ie, if it is a painting, it has a cleat/wire/hook on the back; if it is a drawing/photo/other flat artwork, it is framed and the frame has a cleat/hook/wire/etc. to hang it from.) Illustrators may submit up to 5 pieces of art for this show.

At drop off, all pieces should have a tag taped to the back, bottom left corner of the piece including this information:

Artist's Contact info (how you wish patrons to contact you in the case of a sale)

ART DROP OFF
Art may be dropped off during AIR's open hours the week of July 28:
Monday, July 28 Noon - 8pm
Wednesday, July 30 Noon - 8pm
Friday, August 1 Noon - 8pm

PAYMENT
Illustrators may submit up to 5 pieces for this show. The initial piece / registration price is $20, additional pieces are $10 each. These fees help our region rent the space for the art show.
After submitting your registration here, be sure to register on the SCBWI website. This is where you'll pay the registration fees - you're registration won't be valid until -both- applications are complete.
SELLING ARTWORK
Illustrators will have the option of selling their hanged pieces, and are responsible for completing the sales. Each piece will hang with the artist's contact information, and patrons will be encouraged to reach out directly to the artist to complete sales. The gallery does not take commission.
