Conference Grants

Thanks to generous donors from members, the Rocky Mountain Chapter of SCBWI is pleased to offer the following grants to help creators attend this year's Letters and Lines conference in Arvada. 

Grant application window closes July 2.

BELIEVE GRANT

Open to creators who identify as marginalized. 

Grant covers:

   * tuition for one or both days of the conference

   * a manuscript critique or portfolio review, if desired

   * a conference intensive, if desired

Applicants must live in the Rocky Mountain region (Colorado and Wyoming) to apply. Non-SCBWI members may apply. (Non-member grantees also receive a complimentary one-year membership to SCBWI.)

CREATE GRANT

Open to creators with financial need. 

Grant covers:

   * tuition for one or both days of the conference

   * a manuscript critique or portfolio review, if desired

   * a conference intensive, if desired

   * 1-night hotel lodging near the conference venue

Applicants must be members of SCBWI and reside in the Rocky Mountain region (Colorado or Wyoming).

RMC GRANT

Open to creators with financial need. 

Grant offers:

   * tuition discount of $250

Applicants must be members of SCBWI and reside in the Rocky Mountain region (Colorado or Wyoming).

VOLUNTEER GRANT

Open to active member-volunteers of the Rocky Mountain chapter of SCBWI with financial need.

Grant covers:

   * tuition to one or both days of the conference

and CHOICE of

   * a manuscript critique,

   * a portfolio review, or

   * a conference intensive

The grant application window will close on July 2. Grant winners will be notified in advance of registration opening on July 17.
