Join us for an engaging in-person event at the Huntington Station Branch Library as we explore the art of creating children’s picture books.
Led by Roseanne Frank—freelance editor, picture book author, and SCBWI volunteer—this workshop will guide you through the elements that make a picture book work, from shaping narrative arcs to crafting page turns that captivate young readers.
Bonus! We will be doing First Pages feedback too! Bring just the first page of a picture book work-in-progress.
Include title and word count at top. Format double space, 12 point, one inch margins and submit when you arrive. We’ll try to get to as many as possible.
This event will not be recorded.
