We’re doing something different this month! We’ll be taking the whole monthly meeting to PLAY with some structured art and writing exercises to warm us up, get out of our heads, and to go into fall inspired. Illustrators, I know you’re going to love this meeting, but if you’re a writer that has been wanting to draw or wants to experiment with the art “side” of children’s books, this is very much for you too! Experimenting with any art practice helps all of the creative process. We will meet in the upstairs critique room. Tables and chairs will be set up with lots of fun basic art materials for play around with so just bring yourself and be ready to experiment, explore, and have fun!
Since we are meeting in person at BookPeople for an interactive play session, we will not be broadcasting this month's meeting on Zoom.
The Central Austin Writers & Illustrators Critique Group will immediately follow in the meeting room on the third floor of BookPeople.
