Writers and illustrators! We are starting a new series of casual in-person events dubbed Story Spinners. The goal is to gather for a few hours and focus on your current work in progress in the company of like-minded creators. Join us on Saturday, November 4 at Cheri O's in Ashland, Nebraska.
Most of our time will be spent working on our individual projects with a few short breaks during the first 3-ish hours. Afterward, we can do some informal critiques or talk about our work. Stay for as long as you can or leave when you need to.
Our venue for November is the upstairs room at Cheri O’s coffee house in Ashland (conveniently located midway between Lincoln, Omaha, and Fremont).
Please note: do not bring your own drinks or food. We are allowed to use the space for free under this condition. Beverages are $2 - $3 but you are not required to buy anything. If you want to grab lunch while you’re there, they have a tasty menu.
Registration is not necessary, but we kindly ask that you register to help gauge interest. We hope to see you there!
