Scholarship for the 2026 Spring Conference
SCBWI Oregon is offering 3 full* and 2 partial scholarships for writers and illustrators who would like to attend the spring conference. Applicants must be current members of SCBWI (standard or student level). Click on the link to apply; the deadline is March 4, 2026.
There are five categories in which applicants may apply. If judges deem that no entries qualify, the award for that scholarship will be transferred to another category. They are:
- Any SCBWI Member
- SCBWI Member of 0-5 years
- SCBWI Member with a financial need (honor-based; no justification needed)
- Partial scholarship for a writer
- Partial scholarship for an illustrator
*The payment portal is set up in such a way that it is impossible to allow a free registration, so the full scholarship will require the winners to pay $1. Sorry!
