Ottawa-Gatineau Mingle
Whether you're an illustrator, writer, or translator, join us on an artist's date that will relax you as you immerse yourself in nature. Walk the trails of Mud Lake, taking time to admire the waterfowl and other birds, as well as the various reptiles so plentiful at this time of year. Feel free to bring your camera and sketching tools so that you can take home beauty to inspire you. After the walk, you may wish to extend your visit by stopping at Britannia Coffee House for lunch or ice cream. Note: We will meet in the lobby of Northwest One, a condo complex at 2625 Regina Street and, from there, proceed to the most active Mud Lake trail that week. Note: Although we will stick to the open trails and avoid long grass, be aware that deer ticks have been reported in this area. Wear closed shoes or boots, and light-coloured pants and tops. Tuck your pant legs into long socks. Apply insect repellent to the area around your cuffs. The leader will have appropriate repellent at the meetup spot.

Note that this event is free, but each person is responsible for their own food and drink.
Please register by June 20. We ask that you be considerate of the restaurant and treat your registration as a commitment. If you find you are unable to attend after registering (life can be unpredictable), please notify the event coordinator so that we can free up your spot for another attendee.
