Picture book author/illustrator Niña Mata will discuss her personal journey in finding joy in her art. In this workshop, Niña will discuss her key components of what makes dynamic illustrations by incorporating thoughtful textures and patterns to your art and how stepping outside of your comfort zone and just having FUN can help you take control of your visual narratives. With Niña's guidance, attendees will analyze and brainstorm ways to bring one of their own portfolio works-in-progress to the next level. Let's go!
