Spend your lunch hour with esteemed Illinois PAL professionals receiving feedback.
Each table will consist of your peer professionals & PAL Professional selected at registration.
—Each attendee will present and then receive feedback from PAL professional and peer professionals (if time allows). Very similar to our successful Spring Thaw programing.
—10 minutes is allotted per attendee if all (6) attendees are present. Please bring copies specified below to share with your table.
Guidelines for Round Table First Pages:
—2 pages total, 500 word maximum, 12-point font (standard font, such as Times New Roman, Arial) 1-inch margins, double spaced (for poetry, see below)
—Bring 7 copies or pages to share with your table. There are no copiers avail for attendee use at the conference center.
POETRY: this includes rhyming picture books, novels in verse, and stand-alone poetry collections. Poetry submissions should conform to the guidelines page; however, they may be single spaced with a double space between stanzas, per industry standards. Feel free to format your poetry to allow for a standard of approximately 500 words (e.g. putting verses into multiple columns, etc.).
