Query Letters and Pitches: A Half Day Workshop With Agents Sara Megibow and Helen Masvikeni of Megibow Literary Agency

Megibow Literary Agency President and Senior Agent Sara Megibow and Agent Helen Masvikeni will explain how and why to write a great query letter, focusing on the pitch paragraph. Following that, they'll workshop pitches with anyone who wants feedback. All are welcome at any stage of their process. Sara and Helen will lead participating writers through a series of questions to craft engaging pitches. Bring a written query and/or pitch, or discuss off-the-cuff. Any and all genres are welcome! We will end with a short talk by Sara about publishing in 2026 and the way money works in traditional publishing, followed by a closing Q&A. Beverages, a light breakfast, and lunch are included.

Both Sara and Helen will be open to queries from attendees after the workshop! More details will be shared on the day of the event.
