Come join SCBWI San Diego for a virtual one-day conference for authors and illustrators! MayFest features a keynote speaker, an editor panel, an agent panel, an art portfolio showcase, and optional Zoom critiques. REGISTRATION OPENS on Sunday, February 28th at 6:00 p.m. (PT).

Design our website banner for MayFest 2026!
The winner will be attributed on our website—great for publicity—PLUS receive free registration to MayFest, San Diego SCBWI's annual one-day conference, plus a certificate, a Portfolio Showcase entry, and a critique. The MayFest Art Contest closes Feb. 17. You must be a San Diego/Imperial County SCBWI member to enter.
What we need:
- Spring theme banner (San Diego themes are welcome!)
- At least 3 details on the banner to be used for buttons on the webpage. See Megan Bishop's winning banner and details used for the 2025 MayFest Website: www.scbwi.org/events/mayfest-2025-scbwi-san-diego
- Banner Size: 1600 x 500 (72 ppi or higher)
- Buttons Size: 60-72 pixels square (72 ppi or higher)
- File Format: JPG or PNG

Winner will be announced on February 21 at the chapter meeting.
