Analia Cabello, Agent - Andrea Brown Literary Agency

Analía Cabello is an associate agent at the Andrea Brown Literary Agency. She has been with ABLA since 2021, assisting Kelly Sonnack in championing a diverse list of authors and illustrators. Before that, she was an editorial assistant at Candlewick Press and interned at several literary agencies. Authors and illustrators were her childhood celebrities; now, she is thrilled to have the opportunity to cheer them on and support them in a professional capacity.

Analia will provide WRITTEN-ONLY critiques

Analia will provide 15 written-only critiques for illustration portfolios, board books, picture books, early readers, chapter books, middle grade, young adult. If you purchase one of Analia's critiques, you will need to prepare the following:

Picture Books - send one complete picture book manuscript, no more than 800 words as a PDF file.

Novels - send 10 pages of the manuscript and a one-page synopsis for your better understanding of the work as a whole in one PDF file. Note: the 10 pages do not include the synopsis.

Portfolios - send a portfolio link to your online portfolio.

Your critique materials will need to be received no later than Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

Post-Conference Submission Opportunity

Analia will accept submissions from attendees following the conference beginning Monday, November 16, 2026, through to the end of 2027.

She is open to submissions the following categories and genres.

Category – illustration portfolios, board books, picture books, early readers, chapter books, middle grade, young adult

Genre – fiction, realistic, horror, mystery, romance, humorous, STEM/STEAM, folk tales/fairytales

Attendees may submit their manuscripts and portfolios. Specific instructions will be provided at the conference.
