Kids Need to Read is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by providing books and literacy resources to underserved children from birth through age 18. We work with schools, libraries, shelters, foster programs, and other community organizations to ensure children and teens have access to high-quality books both in and out of the classroom.
For this book drive, we gladly accept all types of new and gently used children’s and young adult books. Our book needs vary throughout the year depending on community requests, but we are currently in need of a wide range of titles across all age levels, with a particular need for bilingual Spanish books.
All books collected will go directly to children and teens served through our partner schools, nonprofits, and community programs across Arizona and the US and territories. These books are placed into home libraries, classroom collections, library collections, and literacy programs that serve children who may otherwise have limited or no access to books.
We have partnered with KIDS NEED TO READ to bring books to where they are needed most.
Bring some books to the conference and get an extra raffle ticket.
