Linda Camacho is a senior agent at Gallt & Zacker Literary, where she has the pleasure of representing a roster of award-winning, bestselling writers and illustrators. In her two decades in publishing, she's held various positions at Simon & Schuster, Writers House, and Penguin Random House. Linda received her MFA in creative writing from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and has a short story published in the YA anthology Every Body Shines by Cassandra Newbould (Bloomsbury). She adores stories that make her feel in a big way, whether it's elation, grief, fear, and everything in between.
Linda will provide WRITTEN with 20-MINUTE ZOOM Critiques
Linda will provide 15 written with Zoom meeting critiques for picture books, middle grade, graphic novels, young adult, and new adult. If you purchase one of Linda's critiques, you will need to prepare the following:
Genre – fiction, historical fiction, fantasy, science fiction, realistic, horror, mystery, romance, humorous
Picture Books - send one complete picture book manuscript, no more than 800 words as a PDF file.
Novels - send 10 pages of the manuscript and a one-page synopsis for your better understanding of the work as a whole in one PDF file. Note: the 10 pages do not include the synopsis.
Your critique materials will need to be received no later than Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
Post Conference Submission Opportunity
Linda will accept submissions from attendees following the conference beginning Monday, November 16, 2026, to Tuesday, February 16, 2027.
She is open to submissions the following categories and genres.
Category – picture books, graphic novels, middle grade, young adult, new adult
Genre – horror, mystery, romance, humorous
Attendees may submit their manuscripts and portfolios. Specific instructions will be provided at the conference.
