Saribel Pages (she/her/ella) is a Literary Associate at Gallt and Zacker Literary Agency. Prior to her position there, she has held roles at Penguin Random House and W.W. Norton, where’s she’s worked on everything from international rights to sales to marketing. Now at Gallt and Zacker, she loves working with creators from marginalized backgrounds who are passionate about telling stories that spark delight and curiosity in the world around them.
Saribel will provide WRITTEN WITH 20-MINUTE ZOOM critiques
Saribel will provide 12 written with Zoom meeting critiques (5 picture books and 7 early reader/chapter book/middle grade). If you purchase one of Saribel's critiques, you will need to prepare the following:
Genre – fiction, nonfiction, historical fiction, realistic, horror, mystery, romance, biographies/memoirs, informational, humorous, STEM/STEAM, poetry/rhyme, folk tales/fairytales
Picture Books - send one complete picture book manuscript, no more than 800 words as a PDF file.
Novels - send 10 pages of the manuscript and a one-page synopsis for your better understanding of the work as a whole in one PDF file. Note: the 10 pages do not include the synopsis.
Your critique materials will need to be received no later than Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
Post-Conference Submission Opportunity
Saribel will accept submissions from attendees following the conference beginning Monday, November 16, 2026, to Sunday, May 16, 2027.
She is open to submissions the following categories and genres.
Category – picture books, graphic novels, and contemporary and low-fantasy middle grade
Genre – fiction, nonfiction, historical fiction, realistic, horror, mystery, romance, biographies/memoirs, informational, humorous, STEM/STEAM, poetry/rhyme, folk tales/fairytales
Attendees may submit their manuscripts and portfolios. Specific instructions will be provided at the conference.
