Join Illustrator Coordinator Tita Berredo at the Manchester Gallery for a round of writing and illustration prompts in an exciting journey in search of wonder! Playing with visual references and imagination Tita will lead insightful activities inspired by the items on display.
Please bring writing/drawing material, and perhaps something to rest on. We'll meet inside at the entrance and start crawling on each floor - it's easy to find us.

This weekend is all about creativity fun and networking so we kick things off in style on Friday evening with our informal drink and nibbles social (separate ticket required). Meet up with old friends and make new ones at our relaxed and informal gathering, where you can also get to know the SCBWI team and some of our speakers.
If you’re new to conference this year, or just mindful that you don’t know anyone who is coming, then this is a great opportunity to meet lots of new people, some of whom may be in the same boat as you, ready for the weekend ahead! Make yourself known at reception and our team will ensure that you soon feel part of the welcoming world of children’s illustrators and writers.
Tickets are priced at £25 with food and one drink included. Entry with a pre-booked ticket only, unfortunately we do not have the capacity to welcome walk-ups.
