As we prepare for Spring Spirit, join us at our monthly regional meeting for a special event: PAL (published & listed) author Kimberly Biddle!

Tidbits of Wisdom: The Perks of Working with Small and Medium-Sized Publishers


Kimberly Biddle will share her experience of working with small and medium-sized publishers. Her latest book, As You Are: A Hope for Black Sons, was recently published by Magination Press. The Children's Book Council named it one of February's book of the month!

Dr. Kimberly A. Gordon Biddle is a writer (picture books and novels), a Sacramento State professor emerita of Child and Adolescent Development, and a lifetime lover of books. In addition to her children's books, Kimberly is also the author of several academic textbooks. She earned her BA in Psychology and Music from the University of Redlands, and her PhD in Child and Adolescent Development from Stanford University. Kimberly is represented by Deborah Warren at the East West Literary Agency. She is also our SCBWI region's PAL Coordinator.
