SCBWI Japan online summer party!

It’s summer party time. Join fellow SCBWI Japan members to catch up on what's been happening.

Location: Online (the Zoom link will be available on your events page after registration).

Time and date: Saturday, July 18th 10:30 am ~ 12:00 pm Japan Time - if you don't live in Japan please check the local time.

Put on your favorite summer wear, top up your glass with a refreshing drink and get ready to soak up some virtual sunshine.

We’ll toast our fellow members and share what we’ve been up to this year, celebrating achievements and breakthroughs, big, small and all sizes in-between.

Don't forget to bring along a summer recommended read to share in the book chat section - a mentor text; books on writing/ illustration/ translation craft; or just simply a recent discovery you want to share.

And, if you've been wrangling with a query letter or a perfecting a pitch you'd like to test out, this is your opportunity to get some feedback. Send your query letters and pitches to [email protected] by Thursday 16th, so we can add them onto the schedule.

Additionally, for our translators interested in applying for the SCBWI Translation Grant, we’ll be happy to go over any questions you have, or check out your pitches for the grant.
