An inspiring and inspirational talk from beloved children’s author and/or illustrator Bob Shea. Mr. Shea will draw and tell you things he hopes will help somehow. BIO Bob Shea is an award-winning author and illustrator of your favorite children’s books. The names escape me, but there was a unicorn one, an alligator who opens a restaurant on his nose, some dinosaur books, a turtle in a bear suit and plenty more. Oh! He wrote Who Wet My Pants illustrated by Zachariah Ohora. He is friends with Lane Smith and could call him right now if he felt like it. A long time ago he designed the logo for PBS Kids. Let’s see, what else? Oh, he worked with Google on a secret project, he was art director at Nick Jr., was nominated for an Eisner Award and is allergic to dogs. Bob is allergic to dogs in Connecticut with his wife and son. His wife isn’t allergic. His son is. That’s it I guess. Wait! I looked them up. Unicorn Thinks He’s Pretty Great, Chez Bob, The Dinosaur vs. series and Bearsuit Turtle Makes a Friend. A bunch more too, like I said before.
