Join SCBWI North Texas for an online, ten-minute, one-on-one portfolio review with Brian LaRossa on November 14, 2026. Choose live feedback or live feedback plus a marked-up PDF review. Appointments begin at 9 a.m. Central Time. Submissions are due November 2. Note: A paid review selection is required: Live Review is $60 for members/$65 for nonmembers; Live Review + Marked-Up PDF is $85/$90.

$60 for SCBWI members | $65 for nonmembers
Ten minutes of live, one-on-one feedback with Brian LaRossa on a book dummy and cover, up to five portfolio pieces, or a website.
Live Review + Marked-Up PDF
$85 for SCBWI members | $90 for nonmembers
Ten minutes of live, one-on-one feedback plus a marked-up PDF review of a book dummy and cover or up to 15 portfolio pieces.
Appointments
Online reviews begin at 9 a.m. Central Time on Saturday, November 14, 2026. Ten-minute appointments will be assigned in registration order. Meeting links will be emailed to registered participants. You’ll enter a virtual waiting room before being admitted to your one-on-one review with Brian.
Submission Instructions
Send materials to [email protected] by November 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Central Time.
- Combine all artwork or dummy materials into one PDF.
- Maximum file size: 5 MB.
- Name your file using your first and last name, for example: JohnSmith.pdf.
- For a website review, email your website link to [email protected].
