With the free desktop version of Canva, this webinar will cover the basics of setting up a project, adding images, text, and animation, changing colors, fonts, and other effects, downloading or sharing your project, and more. About Susan Johnston Taylor

Susan Johnston Taylor is the author of the Crystal Kite-awarding STEM poetry book Animals in Surprising Shades: Poems About Earth’s Colorful Creatures. She's written over a dozen books for the educational market, and her writing also appears in Highlights for Children, Scout Life, and several poetry anthologies for kids and adults. Her next picture book poetry collection, If Pets Wrote Poems, unleashes with Gnome Road Publishing in spring 2026. Outside of writing, she’s a professional singer/actor who performs with the Paramount Story Wranglers bringing third-graders stories to life onstage through original sketches and songs.
