Christine Evans is an award-winning author of children’s books from picture books to middle grade including EVELYN THE ADVENTUROUS ENTOMOLOGIST, DEAR MR. G and THE WISH LIBRARY series. Her latest picture book, DEAR MR. G, gained a starred review from SLJ, won a SCBWI Crystal Kite Honor, was a Golden Poppies Finalist, and was selected as a best book of 2023 by Chicago Public Libraries. Christine grew up in an English village but now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her family where they enjoy skiing, hiking, and playing on the beach.
Charlotte Cheng has written and illustrated a variety of books including NIGHT MARKET RESCUE, ROAR-CHOO!, I MISS YOU MOST, and BOBO LOVES DUMPLINGS. Represented by Red Fox Literary, Charlotte has spoken at a wide variety of events, given school assemblies, and taught interactive workshops for both children and adults. These events have included the National American Librarian Association Conference, LA Times Book Festival, Bay Area Book Festival, and the Your Author Series of Los Angeles Public Library. Charlotte has also been a guest speaker at both Harvard University and Stanford University. With over 20 years of EdTech experience, Charlotte has also written and published K-12 curriculum for a variety of companies including CodeCombat, LeapFrog, Disney, and Wonder Workshop. Charlotte lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she enjoys playing board games and the ukulele while sampling local boba beverages.
Sam Subity spent a decade in publishing as an editor before deciding to try his hand at writing books himself. He is the author of middle grade fantasies THE LAST SHADOW WARRIOR and VALOR WINGS, both from Scholastic, with another upcoming project soon to be announced. In his spare time, he crunches data on the children's publishing market on his website.
