TAME YOUR STAGE FRIGHT: Finding Your Author's Speaking Voice with Heather E. Schwartz
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Whether you're visiting a school, networking at a conference, pitching an editor, or simply chatting about your work, speaking can feel uncomfortable for authors and illustrators. If you attended the SCBWI Summer Conference, this workshop builds on the same Tame Your Stage Fright! framework while exploring a different side of the journey: how to get more comfortable putting yourself out there. Learn the baby steps toward greater visibility, building self-trust, and discovering what you need to feel supported as your comfort zone grows. Use your wonderful words to write and speak!
