No matter what genre you write in, character-driven stories dominate today’s publishing landscape. Yet to write effective characters, you must understand the two forms of motivation, which this workshop breaks down with actionable insights. Attendees will come out of this session with the confidence to drive their story forward whether they’re drafting or revising. $10 for premium members. Presenter Bio:

George is the Lebanese-American author of the Shad Hadid children's fantasy series, the contemporary graphic novel, Tarik’s Bazaar Adventure, and several more upcoming books with HarperCollins. He has written short stories published in collaboration with UNICEF and currently serves as the inaugural writer-in-residence for the historic Concord Free Library in Massachusetts.


When not writing, George enjoys teaching, working with Gotham Writers Workshop in New York City. He also loves visiting schools to spread his love of books as well as scouring the world for delicious food.
