An informal social support meeting hosted on Zoom as part of SCBWI England South and London’s ‘Winter of Wellbeing’.
This is an opportunity to meet and chat with other children’s book creators as we try to look after our own creative wellbeing (and each other)!
You do not have to attend all the sessions, but you are encouraged to join the ones you can.
For our fifth session, there will be two sections:
Part 1:
Approximately 30 minutes for conversation where you will be encouraged to share how you are finding your journey during this season- your struggles and your learnings. There will be some prompt questions to help start the conversation.
Depending on the number of attendees, there may be breakout rooms to ensure that everyone gets a chance to chat and connect with others.
Part 2:
Participants are encouraged to go on a nature walk before the session and find something to bring along (for example a leaf, or a pinecone). Everyone can show the item they found and then together we can all either write or draw a little something inspired by our item (or perhaps someone else’s!).
This event is £5 for members, £10 for non-members.
THIS EVENT IS FREE FOR ALL WINTER OF WELLBEING SEASON TICKET HOLDERS.
Please note: this event will not be recorded.
