Join us in person to learn how to make your own book with Kazumi Wilds, creator of Artist's Books. This is an in-person event and fees will be collected at the venue.

Unfold your creativity—literally! In this fun, hands-on session, where you'll learn how to craft your very own accordion-style picture book with creator of artist's books and children's book illustrator, Kazumi Wilds.

With its unique long, fold-out structure, the accordion book offers endless possibilities. You'll explore how to use the book’s length to bring stories to life—whether by creating tall and towering illustrations, time-passing sequences, or layered, stacked visuals.

For those ready to take it a step further, Kazumi will teach advanced techniques to extend the paper, making the storytelling canvas even more exciting.

By the end of the workshop, you'll walk away with a personalised, imaginative picture book and new skills in visual storytelling and creative bookmaking!

This workshop is accessible to all. No previous skills in bookmaking or illustration is needed. Come along and join the fun.
