Open M-F from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The Farm Bowl will be closed Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to prepare for our event. At 7:30 p.m., it will re-open for our Kidlit Trivia Night event.
Join us Friday evening, April 26, 2024, at the Farm Bowl + Juice Co, just a short walk from our preferred hotel, the Aloft Birmingham Soho Square, for Kidlit Trivia Night! Whether you come for an evening of friendly team competition or just to meet, socialize, and cheer on your fellow writers, illustrators, and kidlit professionals, this will be a fun start to your conference weekend!
Event Schedule
7:00-7:45 p.m. Place your food and beverage orders at Urban Cookhouse. Orders will be delivered to you at the Farm Bowl + Juice Co space.
7:00-8:15 p.m. Socialize, eat, and get to know your fellow teammates and creatives.
8:15-8:45 p.m. Kidlit Trivia Game
8:45-9:00 p.m. Prizes awarded to winners!
Looking for a place for dinner Friday evening before the trivia night event? The Urban Cookhouse restaurant is right next door to the Farm Bowl + Juice Co and offers a range of dinner options.
· Teams are forming now! If you’d like to join us, just check the box on your registration form that reads: Yes! Put me on a team for Kidlit Trivia Night!
· RSVPs not required. For those who aren’t sure that they can make it, you’ll have the option of joining a team when you arrive.
· Food and beverages will be available at Farm Bowl via self-pay-service through their sister restaurant next door, the Urban Cookhouse.

For the out-of-towners, part of the fun is getting to experience the local culture and cuisine of your weekend home. The Urban Cookhouse and Farm Bowl + Juice Co. are Homewood favorites and are locally owned by the Snyder family. Both use family-inspired recipes and locally sourced ingredients.
