About

Adrian is a veteran chemistry educator and author, who in 2006 saw the publication of his first book, The Periodic Table, Elements With Style! Since then Adrian has written a number of different titles and has been a regular contributor to many online and hard-copy chemistry projects. Adrian's work includes projects for Barnes & Noble SparkNotes, Shmoop, The Discovery Channel, Scholastic and many others. Adrian's writing has attracted several awards including, in the UK the School Library Association’s Information Book Award in 2011, and in Austria the Wissenschaftsbuch des Jahre children’s award in 2012. In USA How To Make a Universe With 92 Ingredients won the 2014 American Institute of Physics Communication Award. Adrian holds a BSc. (Hons) Chemistry from Exeter University in the UK, and a PGCE (Secondary Chemistry) also from Exeter University. He lives and works in Fort Wayne, IN  but is a native Englishman.
