Hello! My name is Amanda and I am a Michigander—though I lived in New Mexico and Utah for the better part of a decade. I sometimes miss the mountains and high desert, but I'm quite happy to be near our beautiful Great Lakes. I have studied geology and worked as a landscape architect, graphic designer, illustrator, and lecturer. During the day I'm a graphic artist for my local library, and my evenings are spent drawing and painting. I’ve been making art my whole life, and when I’m not drawing or weaving, I’m spending time outside and on the trails (hopefully soon to be accompanied by a very good dog). Above all, I firmly believe that freshly roasted New Mexican green chile can change your life.
