I am an author, scriptwriter and producer based in Washington, DC with numerous awards over the years for my film and video work including local Emmys and Writers Guild awards for best live entertainment production. From 2012 to 2018 I was the creator/writer of the Memorial Day Concert broadcast nationally on PBS. I created and wrote ADL’s Concert Against Hate performed at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. My poetry trilogy for middle school age girls included the national best seller, Prayers On My Pillow, Ballantine Books, 1998.I am currently co-producing and writing a podcast, Behind the Lines: The Greatest War Letters Ever Written and children’s picture books such as the BoBo and Iris series and Livy Little Honey Bee, Coming soon is Sophie Monarch Butterfly: Mission to Mexico
