Author/Poet/Illustrator Federico Erebia is a retired physician. He received the 2024 Lambda Literary Exceptional New Writer Award. His debut novel, Pedro & Daniel (Levine Querido 2023) is a Ohioana Book Award (Finalist); Crystal Kite Award (Honor); Massachusetts Book Award (Longlist); Américas Award (Commended Book); Bank Street/Kirkus/Nerdy Book Club BEST BOOK. It was featured on NPR’s Weekend Edition and received starred reviews from Kirkus, Publishers Weekly, and Shelf Awareness. He is on the SCBWI Impact & Legacy Fund steering committee, and the Read Your World, Inc., Board of Trustees. He is an intersectional gay, neurodivergent , Mexican American. He and his husband live near Boston, Massachusetts.
