About

Francy Judge is an author and illustrator who loves writing anything for children from picture books to young adult novels. After graduating from FIT in Manhattan for illustration, Francy worked as a freelance illustrator before focusing on writing. She has had short stories and poems published in children’s magazines and anthologies including the 2018 Writer’s Digest Annual Competition Collection of first place winning entries. She is an active PAL member of SCBWI and has also self-published a middle-grade novel called Randi’s Steps. Francy started a blog/website called Doodle Stories & Oodles of Art to showcase wonderful children’s books and is currently writing her third and fourth young adult novel and illustrating two humorous picture books she wrote. In her free time, Francy loves biking and reading on the boardwalk near her home in Long Beach, New York, and spending time with her husband and five grown children.
