Georgia “Aiden” Beaverson has written nonfiction articles for national YA publications, educational software content, and teacher’s guides. Delacorte Press published her middle-grade fantasy, The Hidden Arrow of Maether, in late 2000. The French version, La Marque de l’Élue, was published by Bayard Jeunesse two years later. In 2012 she contributed the short story "The Ghost Catcher" to the horror anthology Haunted.After earning her MFAC in 2012, Georgia taught writing classes at Madison College, Hamline University, SCBWI-Wisconsin, the University of Wisconsin CE program, and Write by the Lake in 2017 and 2018. She edits a leveled series of biographies on famous Wisconsinites for Wisconsin Media Lab. She served as one of the SCBWI-Wisconsin area representatives for eight years and on the board of the Friends of the Cooperative Children's Book Center at the University of Wisconsin.
