I’m the author of the informational fiction picture book IN A CAVE (Gnome Road Publishing), as well as the nonfiction titles NATURE IS A SCULPTOR and SMALL MATTERS (both from Millbrook Press). I write in a variety of flavors: fictional stories filled with heart, nonfiction at the intersection of poetry and nature, and verse (both lovely and wacky). Aside from my picture book characters, I live with my inspiring kids and rocket-scientist husband in the SF Bay Area. I’m an active member of several writers’ groups, the 12x12 Challenge, InkedVoices, and SCBWI. I am represented by Sarah Stephens of Red Fox Literary.
