I'm the author of three titles published by Jumping Jack Press—The Nutcracker, The Mitten, and Barnacle Carnival, (which I also illustrated). And, I am co-editor of Jumping Jack Press's The Snow Queen.I was invited to present at both the 2019 NESCBWI Spring Conference and follow-up "Encore!" event. The Spring Conference's theme was "The Golden Brick Road: Paving YOUR Way to Success." My workshop, "If I Only Had a Brand," focused on visual branding and marketing strategy for writers and illustrators.When not working on books, I'm the force of nature behind Jesswick Creative Studio, LLC, providing illustration, writing, design, and branding services. I live in coastal Connecticut with my husband, son, and tortie-cat, Shmoo, in a house filled with pictures, toys, rocks, monsters, board games, shells, and lots and lots (and lots) of books.
