I believe the greatest gift we can give a child, and the world, is a story that ignites a love for reading. A love of reading will turn into a love of learning and from there, the possibilities are endless. Professionally, I have worked for over twenty years with children as an autism therapist, a preschool administrator and in supplemental education. Children's literature is my passion. As a mom, I never pass up a chance to sit down and read a good book with a child. I have been writing and drawing The Pig and the Pelican for more than a decade and am thrilled to finally introduce Leah and Drew to the world. Happy reading my friend!
