About

Kaori is an artist, illustrator, and character designer based in Japan and the United States.Awards:• Silver Award Winner of The Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles 41 Annual Awards• A'Design Award Winner for Print and Published Design, Mobile App Design (2021)• United Nation's 75th Anniversary Augmented Reality Poster Award Winner (2020)Clients:Google Books, Nickelodeon, MTV Networks, Oxygen Media, Google, Time Out New York, New York Press, Interviews, Mademoiselle, Cosmo Girl!, Boston Weekly Dig, Anna Sui, and more. She graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York and studied art at École Parsons à Paris. She works primarily in digital for illustration and works traditionally for gallery shows. She has written and illustrated several children's books, and one of the books is published into an interactive book app that teaches children about equality and tolerance.
