Karen spent most of her adult life as a software engineer, creating computer programs. She loved the challenges and problem solving demanded by the career. Those traits carried well into retirement where she loves writing! From picture books to novels, fiction to non-fiction, she loves it all. She is married and has three wonderful children. They have gifted her with nine grandchildren. (Not that she's old, they just showed up in twos and threes.) Karen enjoys traveling, mountains, pets, hiking, and oceans. She can be found in central Florida where it's mostly hot and sunny.
