Hi, my name is Katelyn Workman a Virginia based author/illustrator. Currently I am studying Fine Arts in pursuit of bachelor’s degrees in art and product design. I love telling stories through visual narratives making big topics and themes more digestible for young readers. Also thrive on experimenting with different subject matter, but space-themed images and the outdoors are my go-to favorite subjects to depict. Whether I am working digitally or in IRL with watercolor, acrylic, ink, or Cyanotype, I strive to add some form of texture with crayons, oil pastels, or colored pencils, creating my personal balance of Mixed Media. When I am not in a sketchbook or storyboard, you can find me enjoying the great outdoors, trying a new recipe, or learning something new.
