KD Dolan is an artist and writer from San Antonio ,TX.  She attended high school at the North East School of the Arts with a double major in both visual arts and cinema.  From there she continued her studies on scholarship at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore and the University of Texas at Austin. KD enjoys working with a variety of mediums including: acrylic, gouache, watercolor, colored pencil and printmaking.She is currently working solely as a writer and illustrator but brings with her 12 years experience teaching art to children.She is an active member of the SCBWI and the Blue Star Arts Collective. She currently resides in San Antonio with her husband and two daughters.
