Ever since I pinned a poster of the Eiffel Tower to my bedroom wall when I was nine years old, I’ve wanted to travel the world. My 20+ year career as a travel writer has made that dream a reality. I pinch myself everyday and still get excited when I board a plane, train, or bus destined for somewhere new. My bylines have appeared in the New York Times, National Geographic Traveler, Virtuoso Life, AARP, Shondaland, Hemispheres, and the Best Women's Travel Writing anthologies, among others. I'm also the author of two guidebooks to San Francisco as well as a culinary travel book about the people and the food of the Dordogne region of France. Oh yes, I am a die-hard Francophile too and spend a good chunk of my time at my pied-a-terre in the south of France. I'm now channelling my lifelong wanderlust into writing picture books. You're never too young (or too old) to be inspired by the places and people of our beautiful planet. www.kimberleylovato.com
