About

Kristine Asselin writes both fiction and nonfiction for children and teens. She is the author of more than sixteen children’s books for the elementary school library market and her debut YA novel ANY WAY YOU SLICE IT (Bloomsbury Spark) came out in April 2015, and was republshed in November 2018. Her debut middle grade ART OF THE SWAP (Simon & Schuster/Aladdin, co-written w/ Jen Malone) came out in February 2018 and her follow up young adult novel FALLING FOR WONDER BOY came out in February 2019. Kris volunteers with the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, and loves Doctor Who, classic rock from the 70’s and 80’s, and anything with a time travel theme. She is a past director for the New England SCBWI regional conference and currently serves as the Regional Advisor for Central New England (Massachusetts) for New England SCBWI. She loves doing workshops and talking about reading and writing with both kids and adults.
