Leah Ingledew, author, and illustrator of Meowl, received her Master of Arts in Illustration from the University of Hertfordshire, England. Her first nonfiction picture book, Frogs: Weird and Wonderful, was written and illustrated during her studies and is the product of a childhood love of frogs. When not writing or illustrating, Leah enjoys reading outside during the Summer, and spending time with her family – including the cats, of course!
