I grew up in rural South Australia. My passion for picture books started when I created my first book, The Hat, to share with other classes at primary school. Today I live near Adelaide with my husband, three children and a lazy pug called Poncho. I find that my family provide constant inspiration for my writing and illustrations, from my eldest son’s inquisitive nature and love of all things gross to Poncho’s incredibly busy life.
