Lucas has worked as a professional illustrator for the better part of 10 years, From comics to children's illustration, his most noted project to date has been his book "MOOSE: The Graphic Novel" and his work on the movie by the same title. Lucas has had the fortune to work with a variety of companies over the years, and looks to continue to explore how he can continue to create art for himself and for others. Currently Lucas is working on his own creator-owned comic, BATTLE STAR, in partnership with his wife. BATTLE STAR can be found on Webtoon. Lucas grew up in the small town of North Pole, Alaska, where reindeer and elves traversed the land ​and fought the likes of mischievous snowmen for the True King in the North, Santa Claus. (It's a real place, look it up) These days, you can find Lucas residing south of the pole in Anchorage, Alaska. When he's not illustrating his next project, teaching classes at the University of Alaska Anchorage, or visiting classrooms of awesome kids who want to draw, he's hiking through the snow covered trees with his wife and their pup.
