Hi, I'm Marit, nice to meet you! Drawing and painting was always a big part of what I enjoyed most as a child. One of my favourite games was when my mother would put a big piece of paper or card (my father worked in printing so there was never a shortage of paper in our house!) and we would draw and make up stories for hours, mainly about fairies as I remember. I've worked as a freelance illustrator since 2014. My main focus is on picture books for young readers; fairytales, fables and spectacular adventures! Visual storytelling is important to me and design matters. I love the challenge of meeting a brief, helping my clients with the concept, visual tone and appropriate illustrations to realise their projects.
