Melissa Stiveson is passionate about children’s books, inspiring equity and creativity, and empowering children to follow their dreams. She loves to induce watering mouths with homemade and original delights, biking in natural beauty, and getting lost in the mountains or a delicious book. Melissa lives in Westminster, Colorado with her husband, is a Project Manager for a medical device company, and loves connecting with children through live or virtual school and event readings. She is the author of Wishes of the World (illustrations by Khoa Le, Sleeping Bear Press, Jul 2023). Melissa is a member of SCBWI, The Manuscript Academy, Mighty Kid Lit (advisory board position), and RYS. She is a former member of 12x12, CBI, and CBA.
