About

When I was a kid, I lived right across the street from my local library. Quite the bookworm, I would go nearly every day and get as many books as I could carry home. Not only did I love the stories, but I adored the illustrations. I would take out my construction paper and crayons and try to imitate my favorite artists and their work. I would even create my own books! My love of storytelling and illustration never ended, and in fact, grew to where I am today. I decided I would become an illustrator myself. I received my degree in Drawing and Illustration from Herron School of Art and Design in 2019. I have a passion for work that shows small but meaningful moments in a child’s life. My goal is to capture worlds that show fond memories, expand imagination, and give comfort. This is shown throughout my art for children’s publishing. I have also brought the fun and joy of my children’s illustration style into some licensing work! I recently took part in the MATS Children’s Book Illustration course. I have been published in Spider Magazine, as well as collaborated on some items with Fy! home décor based in the UK. I have also created several illustration projects with Riley Children’s Hospital researchers.I am currently located in North Carolina. I enjoy cooking for loved ones, feel-good coming-of-age movies, I still love a good book and a nice nature walk. Oh, I also have a cute cat named Pretzel.
