Master Naturalist, artist, writer, and retired librarian. I write stories for kids that connect them to nature and kindness. I grew up a wild child with ADHD and I'm an HSP (Highly Sensitive Person), yep, it's a thing I like to call it Princess and the Pea Syndrome. I was adopted and am the sister to a person with developmental disabilities. In addition, I am an active member of SCBWI. I'm the current co-chair of the Northern Illinois Illustrators group with Denise Holmes. I have attended several workshops at Highlights, and am a student at Storyteller Academy. I am also a member of Kid Comic Studio.
